Our students developed a range of age-appropriate techniques to calm themselves in situations and now use a variety of ways to get in the ‘zen zone’.

Our teachers have adopted daily yoga and mindfulness sessions from what they observed. I think they’re seeing the beneficial aspects of self-control and better engagement.

How was your experience with YOGAMIGOS?
The students’ experience was a good one, it was their first exposure to both yoga and pilates and they came away with a good understanding of the components involved in each and some of their benefits.

What were the main benefits of the wellbeing program for your students?
The sessions exposed the students to different types of movements involved in both yoga and pilates and the instructor explained both the similarities and differences of each type of activity. Students described feeling like they had never moved like that before, feeling new body sensations which was pleasant for some.

As a teacher, what was your biggest learning from the program?
As a teacher, I took note of how the instructors were able to get the students to buy-in through giving explicit but comfortable instructions which made the students feel relaxed and safe to try something new.

I would definitely book in additional sessions to further enhance students understanding of the activities and to witness students mental and physical growth and capabilities in yoga and pilates over a long duration of repeated exposures.

How was your experience with YOGAMIGOS?
When we started looking for yoga classes at our office, YOGAMIGOS stood out with their friendly customer service and variety of courses. We booked 8 sessions but enjoyed the sessions so much, that we decided to continue our courses with YOGAMIGOS. Kate always follows up and by now we had the pleasure to meet three of their lovely yoga teachers. All of them were extremely open, friendly, and tailored the classes around our needs. The communication is very easy, and it is always a joy to organize classes with Kate.

What were the main benefits of the wellbeing program for your staff?
We were looking for a way to work against the problems of sitting on a desk all day. Our lovely teacher not only gave us strategies to apply throughout the week, but also helped us to relieve stress. It is a great team building activity and we grew closer together as a team. We are all looking forward to our Wednesday session and it gives us energy and motivation to tackle the rest of the week.

As the facilitator, what was your biggest learning from the program?
Our lovely teachers always make sure to ask us at the beginning, if we have any areas that we would like to tackle. We have learned ways to relieve stress, work on our posture and how to take care of our body while sitting in front of the computer. At the beginning of the pandemic or teacher has provided us with strategies and poses how to relieve stress and anxiety and strengthen our immunity.

We already rebooked three times and we can highly recommend YOGAMIGOS. The yoga teachers are excellent and really understand our specific needs, check in on us and always keep the ones in mind, who might have an injury. The atmosphere is nice, and the courses provide a different energy and feeling of togetherness, that you might not get through other group building activities.
