How To Prepare For Your Private Yoga Lessons

There are a couple of things you can do to make sure you’re ready to make the most of your private YOGAMIGOS yoga lesson.

  • Get your materials together. If you have a yoga mat already, make sure to have it ready to go. If you don’t have one, that’s okay too. Let us know, and we’ll sort out mats for you. Make sure you’re wearing comfortable loose clothes you can stretch and move in, and have your full water bottle close by.
  • Prepare your body. Try not to eat for about an hour before your private yoga lessons, so you don’t develop a cramp. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to make sure your body is ready to move and stretch.
  • Let us know if we need to tailor our session. If you or anyone in your group have special requirements, please let us know as soon as you can so we can tailor the asanas we teach. At YOGAMIGOS, we do our best to make sure our private yoga lessons are inclusive and fun for everyone, so we’ll adjust our session to fit the needs of your group.
  • Make sure you have enough space. Whether you’re hosting the session at home, at the park, or your accommodation, make sure there’s enough space for you and your group to stretch comfortably.
  • Bring an open mind. It’s okay if you’re not very good at yoga. After all, that’s what your YOGAMIGOS private instructor is there to teach you! Just keep an open mind and focus on doing your best.
