Make Your Next Event One To Remember With Yogamigos

If you’ve been planning a big event for quite some time, it’s only natural that you should have some pre-event jitters. There’s no better way to relax and calm those nerves than a little bit of yoga. Yogamigos offer private yoga lessons to help you get ready to make the most of your big day. With our team of over 350 teachers, we come to you, and we can tailor our classes to meet the needs of your group or event. So, here’s how you can make your next event unforgettable with Yogamigos.

Why Should You Do Yoga Before A Big Event?

Did you know that Reese Witherspoon practices yoga before awards shows? And Miranda Kerr started her wedding day with an energising yoga session! There’s a reason why yoga is such a fantastic way to prepare yourself for a big event, and if it’s good enough for celebrities, it’s good enough for you!

  • Handle stress a little better. If you’ve spent weeks or months planning an event, there’s a good chance you’re pulling your hair out, wondering whether everything is going to go perfectly or not. Private yoga lessons before your event will help you relax and allow you to take some time away from stressing about the details.
  • Appreciate the moment. One of the benefits of regular yoga sessions is that it teaches you to be present in the moment so you can properly enjoy it and remember it more clearly in years to come. Prewedding yoga can help you make the most of every moment of your big day.
  • Feel more confident. Deep breathing during yoga oxygenates the entire body, which makes us feel healthier inside and out. You’ll get a gorgeous glow post-workout that will have you feeling confident and beautiful all day and night.

How To Prepare For Your Private Yoga Lessons

There are a couple of things you can do to make sure you’re ready to make the most of your private Yogamigos yoga lesson.

  • Get your materials together. If you have a yoga mat already, make sure to have it ready to go. If you don’t have one, that’s okay too. Let us know, and we’ll sort out mats for you. Make sure you’re wearing comfortable loose clothes you can stretch and move in, and have your full water bottle close by.
  • Prepare your body. Try not to eat for about an hour before your private yoga lessons, so you don’t develop a cramp. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to make sure your body is ready to move and stretch.
  • Let us know if we need to tailor our session. If you or anyone in your group have special requirements, please let us know as soon as you can so we can tailor the asanas we teach. At Yogamigos, we do our best to make sure our private yoga lessons are inclusive and fun for everyone, so we’ll adjust our session to fit the needs of your group.
  • Make sure you have enough space. Whether you’re hosting the session at home, at the park, or your accommodation, make sure there’s enough space for you and your group to stretch comfortably.
  • Bring an open mind. It’s okay if you’re not very good at yoga. After all, that’s what your Yogamigos private instructor is there to teach you! Just keep an open mind and focus on doing your best.

How Can Yoga Be Part Of My Event?

If you think private yoga lessons are just a pre-event activity, you’d be mistaken. Yogamigos offer a range of classes and sessions you and your friends can enjoy during your event! How can you integrate yoga into your next event, we hear you ask? Well, here are a few ideas.

  • Bridal yoga packages. The bride may enjoy a solo private yoga class with our mobile instructor in the morning, but we also offer classes for the whole bridal party to enjoy. Before you start with hair and makeup, get your bridesmaids together and stretch out the stress.
  • Yoga birthday parties. If you love the endorphin rush you get after a great yoga class, why not incorporate private yoga lessons into your birthday party? Wherever you’re celebrating, your Yogamigos mobile teacher will come to you.
  • Yoga hens party. If you want to prepare yourself and your friends for a big night of celebrating, consider starting the night with a revitalising yoga session. Whether you’re doing a wine tour, hitting the clubs, or doing a bit of karaoke, yoga will make sure everyone is in the right headspace for a brilliant time.
  • Yoga baby shower. Pregnancy is stressful enough, so why not give the soon-to-be mum the gift of relaxation? Our mobile yoga instructor will tailor the session to ensure every asana is entirely safe for mum and baby.
  • Enjoy your holiday. If you’re away for the weekend, there’s no better way to start the day than with a private yoga lesson. Wherever you are, Yogamigos have a team of over 50 mobile instructors, so we’ll try and get someone out to you.

How Much Does Private Event Yoga Cost?

Gifting your family and friends with tailored yoga and wellbeing sessions at your next event is priceless! However, if you’re interested in the numbers, costs may vary depending on how many people attend the class, the duration of the sessions, and the number of sessions you wish to book. The more sessions you book, the cheaper the rate. Here is a rough pricing guide below based on up to 20 people per 1-hour session:

  • Inner city and CBD locations: One 1-hour session $297 plus GST
  • Rural and regional locations: One 1-hour session $347 plus GST
